This is to inform Nigerian community in Saskatoon and other proximity areas that Nigerian Canadian Association of Saskatoon(NCAS) in collaboration with Nigeria High Commission – Ottawa, is organizing 2nd Nigerian Passport Intervention in Saskatoon.
The passport intervention is being organized because of the following reasons among others:
a. high cost of travel and accommodation to Nigeria High Commission – Ottawa for
passport renewal and acquisition.
b. the success recorded during the last passport exercise organized by NCAS in 2017.
c. demand of Nigerians in Saskatoon for another passport intervention.
A conservative cost estimate shows that on the average, it will cost a family of 4 members about $3,500 to travel by air or $2,500 by road to Ottawa; plus, additional expenses for accommodation and meal. This VOLUNTARY AND OPTIONAL intervention will save members of our community thousands of dollars.
The exercise will be held on June 15 to 17 at Hampton Inn Saskatoon South, 105 Stonebridge Blvd, Saskatoon, SK. S7T 0G3.
I encourage you to apply for your Nigerian Passport at the website of Nigeria Immigration Service(NIS) https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/pages/welcome as soon as possible and submit to any Executive Officers(EXCO) of the Association for processing and courier to Ottawa on your behalf.
